Ingredients
1/4 cup of butter
1/3 cup of chopped onion
1/3 cup of flour
salt and pepper
1 can 10.5 oz of chicken broth
3/4 cups of milk
2 cups of cubed turkey or chicken
1 cup frozen or canned peas
1 cup cooked whole baby carrots
1 tube 10 oz of refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Instructions
In a ovenproof skillet, melt butter. Saute onion until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add broth and milk, whisking lumps. Cook until thickened and bubbly. Add the turkey, peas and carrots. Separate biscuits and arrange over the mixture. Bake uncovered at 375 for 25-35 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown, 6-8 servings.
