Sloppy Joe’s on Brioche Buns
This is the ONLY recipe I use for Sloppy Joes, these BBQ’s with a grilled Brioche Bun, pepperjack cheese and pickles make a amazing dinner. I made these, then placed them in a crockpot on low so anyone could eat when they were hungry- this would be a great meal for a party too!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 T. Butter
- 3/4 – 1 Cup ketchup
- 1/2 C water
- 1/8 C lemon juice
- 1 T Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1/4 tsp mustard
Instructions
Brown ground beef and onion together until no longer pink. Add remaining ingredients and simmer. Best if made a few hours before eating or the night before.
This can be frozen and reheated.
