This is the kind of recipe that I like. It is easy, classic and a handed down recipe that is delicious. The Tea Room at the Ritz- Carlton Hotel served and may still serve this lemon pound cake. Unless the Ritz decides to sponsor my channel I won’t be able to test it out in real life, so I decided to recreate it here! You can either use a loaf pan or you can double the recipe and use a bundt cake pan- either way is so yummy.

Lemon Loaf Recipe from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Tea Room

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 TBSP of baking powder
1 1/2 cups of sugar
3/4 cup of melted butter
2 eggs
1/2 cup of whole milk
3 TBSP of lemon juice
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes using a loaf pan, if using a bundt pan it will take longer about 55 minutes, Test for doneness.
