I have a special guest helping me today make one of my favorite dinners. Fresh Walleye Sandwich’s! My husband loves to ice fish and we finally were able to get onto the ice and caught some fresh walleye this weekend. Walleye is a northern fresh water fish and not available in many places, but I have viewers from ALL over and you can use any type of white fish for this recipe.
Fresh fish is also available in grocery stores and markets. One of the secrets of this fish sandwich is the sauce..it is SO good.
The breading we use for this fish is here (Made in a town by me): https://rstyle.me/+yiArI70RFYkpP6qOqVNAPA
Everything you need to make this recipe is here (but not the fish):https://liketk.it/51nzM
Sauce Recipe: Equal parts sour cream and mayo- I used a half cup of each. Thin with lime juice, you want the consistency of what I show in the video. Add about 1/2 tsp of sriracha sauce to taste, it gets spicy so add slowly.
Toppings for the sandwich are lettuce, tomato, cheese and more sauce to dip the sandwich into! I used Ciabatta Bread from Aldi- toasted!
