Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a stand mixer or bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar and white sugar for about 1 minute until creamed. Add the egg and vanilla, stir again. Gradually add the dry ingredients until combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl, with a wooden spoon, stir in the M& M’s and the chocolate chips. Roll cookies into balls using your hands or a cookie scoop. Place 8 at a time on a cookie sheet. Press 3-4 more M & M’s onto the top of the cookie before baking. Bake 8-10 minutes, cool and enjoy, they will not last long!
