These lovely cinnamon swirl cookies are light, chewy and have frozen chunks of cinnamon batter mixed in, very unique and tasty. I frosted them with a simple powdered sugar and milk glaze. These freeze well and are perfect with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk.

Cinnamon Swirl Snickerdoodle Cookies
I filmed this live, so you its a little longer than normal because I can’t cut out the downtime:) These lovely cinnamon swirl cookies are light, chewy and have frozen chunks of cinnamon batter mixed in, very unique and tasty. I frosted them with a simple powdered sugar and milk glaze. These freeze well and are perfect with a cup of coffee or a glass of milk.
Ingredients
Cinnamon Swirl
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
4 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Cookies
2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
Mixture to roll the cookies in:
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Icing
2 cups of powdered sugar
2 tsp of milk
Instructions
Mix cinnamon swirl together, on a cookie sheet, drop clumps and freeze for 10-15 minutes
Mix cookie ingredients together, then add the frozen cinnamon clumps. Using a cookie scoop, scoop the cookies and roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Bake for 9-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
Cool and frost.
