This is the perfect dessert for St. Patrick’s Day. You can do this cake two ways. You can use traditional apples cut up (about 3) or you can use one can of fried apples in cinnamon (I purchased at Aldi). The fried apples were delicious in this demonstration video!

Traditional Irish Apple Cake

Ingredients
Recipe for the Cake (please watch for assembly directions)
1/2 cup butter melted
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 Tbsp Milk or Cream
1 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 cut up apples or one can of fried apples
Streusel Topping:(combine and crumble butter)
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup oatmeal
6 TBSP butter
1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
Mix together, then place in the bottom of a round 9 inch springform pan. Add apples to the top, either cut up or the can of fried apples. Cover the apples with streusel topping. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
