Double Thick and oh so yummy Rice Krispie Bars. These are decorated for Easter, but this recipe is good for any occasion.

Ingredients
3 Tablespoons of Butter
1 bag of mini marshmallows or 40 large ones if you don’t have mini.
5 1/2 cups of rice cereal, use generic to save money does not affect taste.
Pastel or Spring colored sprinkles
Pastel M & M’s – about a half cup
Instructions
In a heavy kettle place the butter and marshmallow on a medium low heat, stir constantly until melted.
In a bowl measure out the Rice Krispies, when the mixture is melted, pour over the Rice Krispies. Add a few shakes of sprinkles then mix together.
Place mixture into a 9×9 greased ceramic pan with high sides, Mash with your hands to flatten the bars into the pan. Add more sprinkles to the top, place the M & M’s on the top and press into the bars with a flattened hand.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
